Today is Monday, the 16th of March, 2020 and this is an update from earlier in the day.

The government of Portugal has imposed restrictions to enforce social distancing throughout the country. This afternoon, we went to the supermarket where these controls are enforced. Like others, above, we waited our turn to go in and shop.

We have done all of our shopping for the remainder of our time here. From this point on, we'll be essentially in self-imposed isolation until it's time for us to leave for the airport in Lisbon.
