Ten years ago, on April 1st, I retired from Tetraplex to spend more time with Bonnie and our family, to travel and to pursue helping others and investigate things of interest that I'd piled up on the back burner for many years.
And here we are, on yet another April 1st.
Today, given that we are unable to travel, I'm putting this website on pause. While I look forward to resuming this activity at some point in the future, this is a time to reflect on where we are at and what we would like for our future. Our reality has profoundly changed and we will not return to where we were. That is now past.
Today is also a beginning, for me, of a new adventure.
For the past few years, I've been musing on how we are affected by the speed at which we live our lives. While the industrial revolution fundamentally changed our physical world, the information revolution, in its various incarnations, has changed our psychological world. The former revolution brought us to the point of climate change. What are the effects and developing consequences of the latter, newer revolution?
I am in the process of starting a new website dedicated to exploring and discussing the impact on our well being of the speed at which we are living our lives. This website will consist of a series of episodes or musings. Hopefully, discussions will develop that illuminate and inform and help us to understand and grow.
If you are interested, very soon you'll find the beginnings of this website at:
