It was only when we entered the mosque/cathedral, proper, that our attitude completely changed.
The sheer size of the space and its repeating geometrical patterns, both simple and intricate, large and small, took my breath away. It was like landing in the World of Geometry. For a retired math teacher, this was a big deal !
